Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently obtain hemihydrate gypsum and anhydrous gypsum by continuously supplying dihydrate gypsum together with steam to a reactor and heating dihydrate gypsum to eliminate and gasify water of crystallization from dihydrate gypsum and discharging this gasified water together with the supplied steam. CONSTITUTION:Dihydrate gypsum of a raw material is continuously supplied to a reactor main body 1 from an inlet nozzle 3 and also steam is supplied from the inlet 10 thereof. Furthermore a heating medium is introduced into the jacket 7 of the reactor 1 and dihydrate gypsum of the raw material is heated. Water of crystallization is eliminated from dihydrate gypsum and also this eliminated water of crystallization is gasified and discharged together with the supplied steam from an outlet 11 of steam. Hemihydrate gypsum and anhydrous gypsum are obtained by continuously taking out gypsum wherein water of crystallization has been eliminated from an outlet nozzle 4. Further the type of gypsum being a product easily is regulated by existence of addition of a habit modifier and both the kind and loadings of the habit modifier.
