Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the picture quality from being caused against fluctuation of a demodulation characteristic of an FM detector by adjusting minutely an oscillated frequency of a local oscillator so that a mean value of a phase difference between a frequency division signal of an FM television signal with a low frequency resulting from the frequency division by a frequency divider and a signal with a prescribed frequency outputted from a reference oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A 1st FM television signal inputted to a terminal T1 is converted into a 2nd FM television signal by a mixer 5 and inputted to an FM detector 13 and a frequency divider 12a of an AFC circuit 12. A phase comparator 12c compares a phase of a signal with a prescribed frequency generated from a reference oscillator 12b with a phase of a frequency division signal of a 2nd FM television signal, the phase difference signal is smoothed by a low pass filter 12d and superimposed on a channel setting voltage inputted from a terminal T3 at an adder 11 via an amplitude control circuit 12e and the resulting signal is inputted to a local oscillator 6 as an oscillated frequency control voltage. Thus, the AFC circuit is operated stably even against fluctuation of the demodulation characteristic of the FM detector 13.
