MANUFACTURE OF TOWEL

PURPOSE:To execute the automization and labor saving in manufacture of the towel by folding both sides of a cloth woven tape towards a center line to equally divide a width into two, further folding the obtained both-side-folded tape in a center line, and executing a sewing in sandwiching respective cloth woven parts of a towel secondary intermediate product. CONSTITUTION:A thread is made into a raw material, a cloth woven part 1 and a pile cloth part 2 are alternately repeated by a weaving machine for a towel, and a long-scale towel primary intermediate product 3 is manufactured. By executing a cutting through a center line A-A to equally divide a width Y of the cloth woven part 1 of the towel primary intermediate product 3 into two, a towel secondary intermediate product 4 is manufactured. Both sides of a cloth woven tape 6 made of the threads in the same number as the cloth woven part 1 are folded towards a center line B-B to equally divide a width Z into two, and a both-side-folded tape 6a is manufactured. The tape 6a is folded in the center line B-B to equally divide the width into two, respective cloth woven parts 1 of the towel secondary intermediate product 4 are sandwiched, and three edge peripheries C, D and E of the tape 6a and the towel secondary intermediate product 4 are sewn. As a result, the automization and labor saving in manufacture of the towel by an exclusive-use machine can be executed.
