Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To smoothen the rotation of a motor by damping a regenerative current rapidly by making said regenerative current pass through while FET is turned OFF, when a Zener diode is connected in parallel with said FET to switch a phase excitation. CONSTITUTION:During an A-phase excitation period, FET1 is ON-OFF controlled to conduct a constant-current control. When said FET1 is turned OFF, a regenerative current Ib flows through earth, diode D2, coil L2, FET3, and power supply Vcc. Said regenerative current Ib is damped by the time constant of a circuit through which it flows. When said A-phase excitation is ended, FET3 is turned OFF by a control circuit 4 and FET1 is also turned OFF at the same time. Said coil L2 generates a counter electromotive force enough for making said regenerative current Ib to flow and the regenerative current Ib flows through earth, diode D2, coil L2, and FET3, and through parallel- connected Zener diode ZD and power supply Vcc. Further, the magnetic energy of an A-phase flux is heat-consumed by said Zener diode ZD to disappear rapidly.
