FACSIMILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To shorten a communication time by setting a necessary parameter to an area, which is released to a user, in a calling side and a called side and mutually announcing information each other. CONSTITUTION:The calling side sets the necessary parameter to session user data SUD of a session start command CSS6 and sends the parameter to the called side. In the called side, the parameter in a document control command is set to the parameter area to be released to the user in the CSS6. Simultaneously, it is announced to the calling side that the CSS6 and a document control response is not used. Then, in the calling side, the parameter in the document control command is set to the parameter area to be released to the user in an RSSP7. Information are set in the called side in order to adapt the received information. Here, facsimile data are sent in the calling side and displayed or printed in the called side. Thus, since the information are mutually announced each other, the communication time can be shortened between the calling side and called side.
