ENCODER FOR TICKET ISSUING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To issue the ticket of a large size as well with a housing space for the ticket of a small size by arranging a switch lever in an issuing exist side at a normal time, returning the ticket only for a required distance when an encode miss is detected, changing over the switching lever to a ticket abandonning exit side and conveying the ticket to a route for abandonned ticket. CONSTITUTION:At the normal time, a switching lever 18 is set in the issuing exit side, namely, in an OK side and even when the switching lever 18 turns to operational defect, the ticket can not conveyed since a pulse motor for arrangement is not rotated. Then, the ticket is not discharged. When the encode miss is detected, a pulse motor 17 is once stopped and afterwards, it is reversely rotated. Then, the tip part of the ticket, which enters an issuing exit 15 side, is returned to the position of sensors 19a and 19b. When detecting sensors 19a and 19b are changed from turn-on to turn-off, the switching lever 18 is changed over to a ticket abandonning route 11 side and afterwards, the pulse motor 17 is regularly rotated. Then, the ticket is conveyed to the ticket abandonning route 11 side. Thus, the ticket of the large size can be issued as well with the space of a ticket issuing machine exclusive for the ticket of the small size.
