Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To impart a yarn with antistaticity without deteriorating the smoothness and softness of the yarn by applying a nonionic or anionic oil to a fix- treated yarn and treating the yarn with a cationic antistatic agent. CONSTITUTION:A yarn treated with a fixing agent after dyeing is oiled with a nonionic oil emulsified to an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 5mum (e.g. paraffin wax) or with an anionic oil containing polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate and then treated with a cationic antistatic agent such as dilauryldimethyl ammonium chloride (e.g. imidazoline-base compound). Antistaticity can be applied, without deteriorating the smoothness and softness of the yarn, to a fix-treated yarn which has been difficult to be made antistatic.
