Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the predicting accuracy of a future position by a method wherein the title device is constituted of a target tracking unit, a predicted position operating unit, a predicted speed operating unit, a predicted time operating unit and a speed projecting unit while the changing rate of the range of a target is predicted while considering the radius of curvature of the target by the speed and the acceleration of the target under tracking. CONSTITUTION:A predicted position operating unit 2 operates the future position vector of a target by a position vector, a speed vector and an acceleration vector, which are inputted from a target tracking unit 1, and a time inputted from a predicted time operating unit 4. A predicted speed operating unit 3 differentiates the future position of the target, operated by the predicted position operating unit 2, by time to predict a speed after the time, operated by the predicted time operating unit, is elapsed. A speed projecting unit 5 projects the speed vector, obtained by the predicted speed operating unit, on the future position vector of the target to operate the predicted value of the changing rate of range and, thereafter, converts the predicted value into a Doppler frequency to output it to a missile 6.
