ON-VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable to watch a desired picture easily and safely in a vehicle with compact constitution by arranging a display part, which displays the picture of a television and a video or the like, in a center arm rest on a rear seat in an automobile or the like. CONSTITUTION:A display part 5 of cathode ray tube or liquid crystal or the like is arranged in a center arm rest 2 on a rear seat 6 in an automobile or the like. And a picture circuit part 7 and a VTR part 8, for displaying a picture in the display part 5, are also housed in the center arm rest 2. The picture circuit part 7 displays in the display part 5 a picture signal obtained by receiving a television broadcast and/or a picture signal from the VTR part 8. Further the center arm rest 2 is provided, in its front end opening, a with cover 4 having a mirror 9 in the inside and made possible to open and close. Thus, at the time of requirement, the television broadcast or the like can be seen by opening the cover 4 to reflect a display of the display part 5 on the mirror 9.
