Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent stress corrosion cracking of a dovetail by filling silicone rubber type adhesive material, whose main constituent is polymer siloxane having silicone chains, into a clearance in the dovetail. CONSTITUTION:A root 7 of a blade 1 is mounted on a disk 2 by using a saddle- shaped dovetail 8. The dovetail 8 has a small clearance 4 between the blade 1 and the disk 2 for assembling them. The root 7 has a groove 5 and the disk 2 has a groove 6 on its complete circumference. Silicone rubber adhesive or a string of silicone rubber is filled or inserted into the grooves 5 and 6. Since encroachment of drain into the clearance 4 is prevented in this way, this method is effective for preventing stress corrosion cracking of the dovetail 8. Furthermore, since silicone rubber to be filled or inserted into the clearance 4 has elastic property, the rubber is able to bear deformation of the clearance 4 satisfactorily.
