METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FACSIMILE MULTIPLE ADDRESS COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE:To attain simultaneous communication of a same document or the like even when plural receiver side facsimile equipments differ by allowing a terminal controller to send or receive a signal with a signal controller and controlling facsimile multiple address communication of the receiver side facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a channel selection switch 22 is operated, a control section 26 of a signal controller 2 sends selection signals a1-an corresponding to the operation of a switch 22 to receiver side terminal controllers 4-1-4-n via a MODEM 21 and a line 1 and a channel selection lamp 23 is blinked. A terminal equipment receiving the selection signal with a MODEM 44 among the terminal controllers 4-1-4-n sends a connection reply signals b1-bn to a sender side controller 2 and a changeover switch 42 is thrown from the telephone line side to the position of the line 1 via a relay 43. The control section 28 receives the reply signal via the MODEM 21 to apply light control to the lamp 23. When the selection and confirmation of the receiver side facsimile equipment is finished, the facsimile equipment 3 is hooked off. A CED signal is inputted from the receiver side facsimile equipments 5-2-5-n to the terminal controllers 4-1-4-n and a DIS signal is sent.
