REMOTE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To simplify the operation and to reduce the time till remote control by receiving a control code without password code when a call signal by an incoming call from an extension reaches. CONSTITUTION:A remote controller 1 has an incoming detection circuit 5 detecting a call signal and a microprocessor 2 controlling the remote controller 1 is provided with a means checking a signal from the incoming detection circuit 5 and identifying whether the incoming call is an external line incoming call or an extension incoming call. In the case of the extension incoming call, for example, number of times of reception of the call signal is selected to be once and no reply message is sent and the input of a password code is not required and the control code is received immediately. Thus, the operation is simplified different from the external remote control using a public telephone set and the time up to the remote control is reduced.
