Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To accurately and effectively prevent parasitism of microorganisms such as mold on a casing by incorporating an effective amt. of d-n-decyl- dimethylammonium compd. into a tubular food casing made of cellulose hydrate. CONSTITUTION: Before a tube made of a cellulose hydrate get is dried, a soln. of di-n-decyl-dimethylammonium compd. is applied on the outer surface and dried to produce a tubular food casing. The amt. of the di-n-decyl- dimethylammonium compd. in the casing is required at least 10mg for 1m surface area of the casing. If necessary, at least one of other fungicide (such as potassium sorbate, N-n-octyl-isoazolone) is used with d-n-decyl- dimethylammonium compd. The obtd. casing is especially suitable for a synthetic casing of sausage.
