CONTAINER DEVICE FOR LIVE FISH

PURPOSE:To obtain a container device of live fish capable of maintaining multiplication of NH3 decomposing bacteria in filter tank by equipping a sea water filter tank in a live fish tank set in a container, arranging a filter material laid in the filter tank in a filter material cartridge to detachably constitute the filter material against the filter tank. CONSTITUTION:In a container device of live fish having the above-mentioned constitution, a filter material cartridge 2 and a pH adjusting cartridge 50 can be taken out from a wool mat 4 and washed. Consequently, dusts and discharge of live fish trapped by physical filtration can be simply separated. A porous plastic filter material 5 arranged in the cartridge 2 can be partially replaced and when NH3 decomposing bacteria are weakened, the filter material can be simply exchanged for a filter material 5 having bacteria in a separately cultured and multiplied state. Consequently, activity of NH3 decomposing bacteria in the filter tank F can be continuously maintained and further sea water in the live fish tank can be always kept clean.
