PURPOSE:To exactly execute the automatic operation of a heater regardless of the posture of a heating cooking container relative to the heater by providing a temperature sensor for cooking temperature detection in the heating cooking container or in an apparatus attached to the container and providing a control means to operate the heater based on detection information. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a handle 3 fitted to a frying pan 1 freely attachably and detachably, a temperature sensor 5 is fitted through a beam part 4, which can be freely bent and deformed, and the beam part 4 is suitably bent and deformed. Then, the temperature sensor 5 is positioned in the frying pan 1 and a cooking temperature is measured. A transmission part 7B transmitting the detection information of the temperature sensor 5 to a reception part 7A on the side of a gas cooking stove 2, a temperature setter 8, power supply switch 9 and dry battery as a power source are provided. On the other hand, in the gas cooking stove 2, a control part 11 automatically operating the gas cooking stove 2 based on the contents of a signal received in the reception part 7A and a cooking mode set part 12 is provided. Then, the controller 11 automatically operates the gas cooking stove 2 so that the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 5 can be changed with the elapse of time along a set change pattern corresponding to the designated cooking mode.
