RECEPTION TERMINAL EQUIPMENT IN OFF-TALK COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To obviate the need for an exclusive wire for district or group to an information transmitter by identifying an address to its own equipment and receiving paging information selectively. CONSTITUTION:A control means CPU always collates the presence of incoming and outgoing calls of a telephone set TEL through an idle/busy detection means VD 2 while paging information is being received and when no call exists, whether or not an information transmission channel other than a paging information exclusive channel is selected by a subscriber is checked. When no channel is selected, a channel selecting to receive paging information is maintained and a paging information end signal from a voice transmitter BOC is received by an address reception means PBR. Otherwise when the information end signal is received, an information transmission channel C3 or C4 is restored to the original information transmission channel having been selected prior to the reception of the paging information. Thus, a terminal equipment CE 2 does not need a private line for district or group by the information transmitter DTC.
