Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To remarkably enhance dehumidification efficiency by providing an air hole to the vessel of a dehumidifier and forcibly introducing the outside air into the vessel and efficiently bringing large amounts of air into contact with a desiccant. CONSTITUTION:When a fan 10 is rotated, the wet air of the outside of a vessel 1 is passed through a suction pipe 8a from a suction hole 8 and introduced into the vessel 1. This wet air is once introduced into a deliquescent liquid storage chamber 1a and thereafter passed through an annular gap 22 between the suction pipe 8a and a desiccant housing vessel 5. In this case, this air is passed through the fine holes 5d of the vessel 5 and brought into contact with a desiccant 6. Water is absorbed by the deliquescent action and the wet air is made dry air. This dry air is pushed out by fresh air introduced through the suction hole 8 and reaches the space 23 in a cover and discharged to the outside of the vessel 1 through an exhaust hole 14. The larger amounts of air are brought into contact with the desiccant 6 by the fan 10 and the air holes are separated into the suction hole 8 and the exhaust hole 14. Thereby a series of flow path is formed wherein the air is introduced and thereafter discharged and therefore the wet air can be efficiently brought into contact with the desiccant 6.
