Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to novel substituted propargyl esters of cyclopropanecarboxylic acid, of the general formula I in which the substituents have the following meaning: R and R are C1-C4-haloalkyl or halogen, the two radicals not simultaneously representing halogen, R to R independently of each other represent hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C1-C6-alkyl, C2-C6-alkenyl, C2-C6-alkynyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, the hydrocarbon radicals in each case being unsubstituted or halogen-substituted, or in each case two adjacent radicals are linked via a -O-X-O- group, X representing an optionally halogen-substituted methylene or ethylene chain, with the proviso that R does not represent trifluoromethyl when R represents a chlorine atom, and their preparation and application in pest control.
