FORMING OF SOLID POWDERY COSMETIC

PURPOSE:To extremely easily form a cosmetic having an application face leveled with the upper edge of container by setting a cylindrical container having opened top and bottom on a forming face of a lower mold, filling cosmetic powder into the container, pressing from above and using the lower face of the pressed powder as the application face. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical container 1 having opened top and bottom is placed on a forming face 3 of a lower mold 2 and held with a frame mold 6. Powdery cosmetic 9 is filled into the container 1 from above. A press mold 7 is placed on the filled cosmetic, the upper face of the cosmetic 9 is pressed with a pressing surface 8 to solidify the cosmetic 9 and, at the same time, the lower face of the cosmetic 9 is leveled with the lower edge of the container l by the forming face 3 of the lower mold 2 and a desired uneven pattern is formed on the cosmetic face by the pattern 5 engraved on the forming face. The upper surface of the cosmetic pressed with the press mold 7 is covered with a coating layer 10 and the lower face to be used as an application face is covered with a peelable virgin sheet 11.
