PRINTER WITH CUT-SHEET PAPER DISCHARGER

PURPOSE: To simplify a constitution by separating a delivery device for cut paper from a printing station for replaceability and providing a housing with guides sliding the housing in the direction transversing to the direction of sheet delivery between a lower part having a transverse-displacement drive and an upper part forming a collection tray. CONSTITUTION: A housing 9 is formed of an upper part 9b and a lower part 9a and is capable of turning movement and detachment around a shaft 10. Slide guides 14a, 14b are carried on the bottom of the upper part 9b on both sides in the direction transversing to the direction 5 of sheet delivery between the housing upper part 9b and the housing lower part 9a. The lower part 9a is slidably mounted. A rack 15 is provided on the upper part 9b. Gear devices 16 on the lower part reciprocate a collection tray 7 on the upper part 9b in the direction transversing to the direction of sheet delivery. Reciprocation and sort are applied to sheet paper delivered from a pair of delivery rollers 12 for each of the given number of sheets. This simple constitution allows simple maintenance and inspection of the gear devices 6 by detaching the lower part 9a, resulting in the possibility of housing 9 replacement.
