APPARATUS FOR APPLYING ADHESIVE MATERIAL TO BACK SURFACE OF COATING MATERIAL OF COMPOSITE BLOCK

PURPOSE:To provide the subject apparatus composed of a transfer apparatus to transfer a coating material relatively to a hole of a masking plate, a lifting apparatus to contact the coating material with the masking plate and a hopper of a bonding material to bond both components and capable of producing a high-quality uniform composite block in high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus for automatically and uniformly applying an adhesive to the back faces of a number of coating materials in one step and improving the yield of the product is composed of (A) a transfer apparatus 16 to relatively transfer a coating material 15 below a masking plate 12 having uniform thickness of the cross-section and provided with a row of masking holes 11 having specific shape facing the top surface 13 of the coating material downward and the back face 14 upward and to position the coating material to a position corresponding to each masking hole 11, (B) a lifting apparatus 18 to contact said coating material 15 with the masking hole 11 when the coating material 15 is positioned opposite to each masking hole 11 and (C) a bonding material hopper 19 to apply a bonding material to a recess formed by the close contact of said mask 11 and the coating material 15 and moving along the upper face of the masking hole 11 of each masking plate 12.
