PACKER FOR VEGETABLES AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To automatically pack vegetables or the like, making bags simultaneously by forming bags from a half-folded packing film and containing closely the contents in the bag by the action returning the packing film by a required length with the contents in the bag and also the pressing action of a pusher. CONSTITUTION:A packing film 1 is unwound from an unwinding roll 2 by a required length by means of a counter 4, with a driving motor. Then the film 1 is enlarged inward by a film guide 10. Next, spinach is contained sideways in a movable vessel 12 and the roots thereof are held from the outside of the film 1 by a holder 13 and then the movable vessel is pulled back reversely. There after, the spinach is released from the holder 13 to drop it on the lower edge of the film which is already heat-sealed at the heat-cut part 14. After a pusher 16 is inserted into the film 1, the film is raised with the spinach at the lower edge by a reverse driving motor by a retreat length (d) preset in the counter 4. Finally, the film 1 is cut off at the heat-cut part 14.
