DISINFECTION METHOD

PURPOSE:To enable cold disinfection without damaging the flavor and quality of foods by treating foods and sanitary material using a ferromagnetic field. CONSTITUTION:As a ferromagnetic field, every thing that provides a magnetic field such as a permanent magnet, an electromagnet and the like can be suitably utilized. As a magnetic field, a strong magnetic field is favorable and preferably it is about 4000 gauss-7000 gauss usually. When the foods, sanitary material and so on are placed in this ferromagnetic field during a fixed period of time, they are effectively disinfected, and if the foods and sanitary material are not placed in a stationary manner but moved, the disinfection time may be reduced. As a mode, the foods or the like are moved by a belt conveyer or forced to move while stirring, or the above operations are suitably combined.
