CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF SEGMENT

PURPOSE:To reduce time period required for connection by a method in which a coupler is provided for the axial projection of tunnel, a casing is buried in a segment, a recession to be joined with projections is formed, and an elastic part is set between the casing and the peripheral sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A bar-like coupler 22 is projected from one end of a segment 10, projections 26 are formed on the periphery of the projected part 25, and a serrated cross section including the axial line is formed in the bar-like part to permit it to couple with the other segment coupler exactly. Projections are formed even on the periphery of the buried portion 28 of the coupler 22 of the segment 10, and a flange 30 is formed on the end portion. An elastic part 40 is set between a casing 36 buried in the segment 10 with the coupler 24 and the sleeve 38, and the projected part 25 is inserted into the sleeve 38. The projections 26 are coupled with the inner recessions 44 of the sleeve 38. Hermetical adhesion can thus be obtained exactly.
