Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To enable an already prepared customer application to perform consultation of an expert system by enabling the application program, which is operated in a computer system, to access the expert system. CONSTITUTION: A transaction processing subsystem 14, a time sharing subsystem 16, a batch subsystem 18, an expert system consultation subsystem 20, and a data base management subsystem 22 are operated independently of one another and have capabilities to address all areas of an extended memory area. Multiple virtual storage(MVS) subsystem communicate with each other through a common service area 36, and it functions as a common base and enables a subsystem to communicate with another and enables subsystems to exchange data between themselves. Thus, the expert system consultation subsystem can perform consultation of the expert system.
