OPTICAL CABLE FOR LASER

PURPOSE:To obviate the burn and failure of a fiber by locking a fiber exit end with a lock sleeve and ring, fixing the same to an inner tube and mounting a window to a front face part via the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The exit end of the optical fiber for medical purposes is locked by the lock sleeve 8 and the lock ring 9 and is fixed to the inner tube 6. The window 7 consisting of a material to allow transmission of a laser is mounted to the exit front face part of the optical fiber via the lock sleeve 8. Since the exit front face part is hermetically closed by the window 7, the burn of the optical fiber by sticking of impurities and splashes is eliminated. Since the exit end of the optical fiber is fixed to an armor tube, the window side does not move even if the elongation arises. The contact of the optical fiber with the window surface and the danger of the burn and failure are averted.
