FLOOR STRUCTURE BODY

PURPOSE:To make absorbable noises in medium-pitched sound of heavy floor impact sound arising from floor vibration by providing reinforcing members to the underside of a floor board at positions roughly at the middle of, and in parallel with the adjoining floor beams. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular outer frame is formed of four floor girders 23. A plurality of floor beams 24 are then fixed, in parallel one another, to the floor girders 23 and a floor board 25 is directly fixed thereon. Then furring strips 27 are joined and fixed to the lower end faces of the floor beams 24 and a ceiling board 28 of the lower story is installed thereunder. Reinforcing members 29 are joined, with adhesive or by nailing, to the underside of the floor board 25 at positions roughly at the middle of, and in parallel with the adjoining floor beams 24. As the main cause for noises by medium-pitched sound arising from floor vibration will be the vibration of the floor board 25, the floor board 25 is reinforced with the reinforcing members 29. Thereby the medium-pitched heavy floor impact sound can be decreased by curbing the vibration of the floor board 25, which in return results in improvement of habitability.
