SLIDING DOOR CLOSER

PURPOSE:To close the sliding door speedily in the beginning and slowly at the end by providing switching means for connecting selectively one-way transfer clutches for transferring the rotation of transfer means at the time of closing the closing door to speed regulating means, one group of accelerating ring lines and speed regulating means. CONSTITUTION:Transfer means 13-16, 18 for transferring the release force of an energy storaged constant torque spring 17 to a sliding door in the closing direction, two groups of accelerating ring lines 18, 27, 34, 35 for accelerating the release force at the different accelerating rates and speed regulating means 10, 23, 24, 25 for connecting selectively are provided. One-way transfer clutches 16, 18, 19, 20 for transferring the rotation of the transfer means 13-16, 18 at the time of closing the sliding door to the speed regulating means 10, 23, 24, 25 by means of switching means 29, 30, 32, 34, one group of the accelerating ring lines and the speed regulating means 10, 23, 24, 25 are connected selectively. The sliding door can be thus closed speedily in the beginning and slowly at the end.
