CONSTITUTION: Read data on a line 60 is latched in a data buffer 62, and new data input on a line 68 is latched in a master buffer 70, and they are sent to a multiplexer 66 and are joined. Joined data from the multiplexer 66 is sent to a check bit generator 90 and a data output buffer 94 and is synthesized with check bits to form a corresponding data write segment on a data buffer output line 100.
