The invention relates to novel sulphonylaminoazines of the general formula (I) in which R stands for halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C2-alkyl, C1-C2-haloalkyl, C1-C2-alkoxy, C1-C2-haloalkoxy, C1-C2-alkylthio, C1-C2-haloalkylthio, C1-C2-alkylsulphinyl, C1-C2-haloalkylsulphinyl, C1-C2-alkylsulphonyl, C1-C2-haloalkylsulphonyl, C1-C2-alkoxy-C1-C2-alkoxy, di-(C1-C2- alkylamino)-sulphonyl, N-(C1-C2-alkoxy)-N-(C1-C2-alkyl)-aminosulphonyl or C1-C2-alkoxycarbonyl, R and R , independently of one another, stand for hydrogen, halogen, alkyl or haloalkyl, n stands for the numbers 0 or 1, X stands for hydrogen, C1-C2-alkyl, C1-C2-haloalkyl, C1-C2-alkoxy-C1-C2- alkyl, cyclopropyl, C1-C2-alkoxy, C1-C2-haloalkoxy, C1-C2-alkoxy-C1-C2- alkoxy, C1-C2-alkylthio, C1-C2-alkylamino or di-(C1-C2-alkyl)-amino, Y stands for halogen, C1-C2-alkyl, C1-C2-haloalkyl, cyclopropyl, C1-C2-alkoxy, C1-C2-haloalkoxy or C1-C2-alkylthio and Z stands for nitrogen or a CH group, and salts of compounds of the formula (I), and to processes for their preparation and their use as herbicides.
