Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [Alk is 1-20C alkylene; A is H or phenyl which may be substituted; B is COOR or CH(OH)R (R and R are H or 1-6C alkyl), 1H-tetrazol-5-yl, nitrile or aldehyde; X is O, -S(O)n- or -N(R )-; Y is vinylene or ethylene; Z is H, halogen, 1-6C alkyl or alkoxy] and salts thereof. EXAMPLE:Ethyl (E)-3-{2-[6-(4-(4-butylphenyl)butoxy)methyl-2- pyridyl]vinyl}benzoate. USE:A remedy for allergic diseases, thrombosis, inflammation or ischemic cardiopathy, and a synthetic intermediate for medicines. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III (Ba is -COOR or nitrile) according to the Wittig reaction and the resultant vinylene compound, as necessary, is reduced, etc., to afford the corresponding compound.
