Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To shorten the total printing time by setting the strobe down time from the total sum of the density values of each image element per line to the next-line starting of the printing. CONSTITUTION:The image data of a component Y corresponding to one line are taken in to an arithmetic-control circuit 8 from a buffer memory 3, and the total sum of one line of the density values of each pixel data is arithmetically operated. The strobe down time is arithmetically operated from the result of arithmetic operation. Since the total quantity of heating needed in a thermal head is also augmented with the increase of the total sum of the density value at that time, heat accumulation is elevated, thus also requiring the long dead time for cooling the thermal head. Said operation is conducted regarding the printing operation of all lines. The same applies to the pixel data of a component M and a component C even in the transfer of other pigment M and pigment C. Strobe pulse width and the strobe dead time at each time per line are corrected by an ambient temperature. |
