Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To improve a dimensionally stable high strength composite article and to impart relief like texture to a surface by supporting the functional layer indivisibly bonded to the plastic film just adjacent to a film laminate by a thermal press on a surface. CONSTITUTION: A composite article is obtained by supporting at least one functional layer indivisibly bonded to the plastic film just adjacent to a film laminate by a thermal press on one surface. At least one functional layer is embedded in the plastic matrix of the composite article and bonded to the plastic films adjacent to two surfaces indivisibly by a thermal press to obtain the composite article. In a texturizing press mold, that, is, in the simplest process, if a punched perforated metal sheet is used in a press process in place of a smooth unperforated press plate, the partial press of the film laminate is achieved to generate a relief type surface texture. At the same time, the functional layer of an emboss-processed film is transferred only to a partial area in a pattern form in the same way.
