DICHROIC PRINT IMAGE FORMATION

PURPOSE: To form an excellent two-color printing image by attracting 2nd toner particles to a high potential area and 1st toner particles to a low potential area. CONSTITUTION: The image forming member of an image forming device is electrified, and an electrostatic latent image consisting of the high potential area, a middle potential area and the low potential area is formed on the image forming member. Then, an electrode having the potential within about 100V being the potential of the middle potential area is set, electric field and a developing area are formed between the image forming member and the electrode, and liquid developer where the 1st toner particles and the 2nd toner particles having another color are dispersed in a liquid medium is introduced into the developing area, so that the electrostatic latent image is developed. At this developing stage, the 2nd toner particles are attracted to the high potential area and the 1st toner particles are attracted to the low potential area, whereby the electrostatic latent image is developed. Thus, two-color printing electrophotographic image is excellently formed.
