ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To reduce the extent of vibration in a shaft as well as to keep off any seizure or binding due to contact with a bearing at the time of operation at high speed by separating a rotor shaft and a compressor shaft from each other, supporting a rotor with bearings installed in top and bottom of a stator, and connection them together with a flexible coupling. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 5 is separated to a shaft 10 thrust in a rotor 3 and a shaft 5 for making a roller 6 of a compressor mechanism part into rolling motion, and the shaft 10 supports body ends of the rotor 3 with upper and lower bearings 12, 13 clamped to a stator 2. These bearings 12, 13 double as a thrust bearing so as to receive thrust force. In this structure, a conventional balancer is no longer required, and dynamic balance of the rotor 3 and that of a pin part 16 of the shaft 5 and a balancer 9c are separately takable. In addition, both these shafts 5, 10 are coupled with a flexible coupling 11, and a coupling method between the coupling 11 and the shaft takes place as being fixed to either of the shaft 5 or 10, and on the other hand, it is carried out by involute serration or the like, thus rotation is made transmissible and assem bly is made easy.
