WASH STAND WITH SHOWER

PURPOSE:To allow a foreign object or a finger to be immediately removed when pinched by detecting the load of a water feed pipe when it is vertically moved and controlling a driving source to stop the water feed pipe after it is lifted when the load of the water feed pipe during its descent becomes the preset value or above. CONSTITUTION:When a descent switch 18 is turned on, whether the limit switch SW3 at the descent position is on is judged, if it is off, a motor 5 is rotated to lower a water feed pipe 3, and time counting is started. When the descent of the water feed pipe 3 is started, a fluctuation occurs in the current to the motor 5, thus no load detecting processing is performed for 0.3sec, for example, to allow descent. When an overload is detected after this time elapses, the motor 5 is reversely rotated for a fixed time to raise the water feed pipe 3. When no overload is detected, the motor 5 is stopped when the limit switch SW3 is turned on at the lowest position. When an overload is applied, the motor 5 is reversely rotated to raise the water feed pipe 3, even if a foreign object or a finger is pinched between the water feed pipe 3 and a guide tube 16, it can be immediately removed.
