PEDESTAL OF SEAT FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To enable a cushion or a cushion cover to be easily exchanged, by equipping a cushion support made of high strength plastic and mounting the same on a lateral beam made of steel, placing a an attaching tool for a back rest of a seat on a support body in the longitudinal direction, and making a rear lateral beam made of steel wok as a support for a snap hook for an attaching tool. CONSTITUTION: This seat base comprises a base frame 1 and a dish shaped cushion support body 22, the base frame 1 is made of high strength plastic and both sides thereof are connected by two lateral steel beams 4, 5. The rear lateral steel beams 5 is retained by a bearing bed 11, 12 placed on adjustable and fixable longitudinal rails 13, 14 and support bodies 2, 3 in the longitudinal direction are supported on the longitudinal rails 13, 14. A cushion support body 22 is made of high strength plastic and mounted on the lateral steel beams 4, 5, and attaching tools 15, 16 for the back rest of the seat are placed on the longitudinal support body. A cushion 24 is set on the cushion support body 22 and covered by a cushion cover 25.
