Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily connect together subjects adjacent to each other while being bent in the case of connecting together a plurality of propulsion pipes by rapidly connecting the pipes together by means of connection portions provided independently of flexible portions. CONSTITUTION:A propulsion head 1 is composed of a head main body 1A and a drilling portion 1B. The drilling portion 1B has a drilling edge 31 attached to its end and contains a supply pipe 22 for supplying muddy water to sand and a withdrawal pipe 23 for withdrawing muddy water. In addition, each propulsion pipe 2 includes a rigid pipe portion 2A and a flexible portion 2B which is flexibly connected to the rigid portion 2A, and a connection portion 11 for detachably connecting together adjacent subjects with rigidity is provided at the other end of the rigid pipe portion 2A. A plurality of propulsion pipes 2 can thus be readily connected together and hence workability can be enhanced.
