Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To easily manufacture the title steel having no ununiformity of hardness in the direction of plate thickness, in the rolling stage before final finish rolling, by subjecting the surface to be cooled in a shape steel to the stages of executing forced cooling under specific conditions and rolling directly for several times till the accumulated strain reaches specific value. CONSTITUTION:In the method for manufacturing a high strength shape steel by subjecting a shape steel after subjected to final finish rolling to forced cooling, at the rolling stage before final finish rolling, the surface to be cooled in the shape steel is subjected to forced cooling at >=10 deg.C/sec cooling speed till the temp. of the surface to be cooled reaches =10%. By this method, the high strength shape steel causing no generation of the increase in manufacturing cost and the lowering in manufacturing efficiency and having no ununiformity of hardness in the direction of plate thickness can easily be obtd.
