Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A trifluoromethylbenzylurea derivative expressed by formula I (R is phenyl or haloalkyl; R' is cycloalkyl). EXAMPLE:N-[(4-Trifluoromethylphenyl)methyl]-N-cyclopentyl-N'-phe-nylurea. USE:An active ingredient of agricultural and horticultural germicides capable of exhibiting excellent germicidal activity against pathogenic germs, such as sheath blight of rice plant, of various crops, and stably protecting crops, especially rice plant from plant disease injuries for a long period without affecting the crops. The application amount thereof is 1-1,000g/10 a amount of the active ingredient. PREPARATION:A secondary amine expressed by formula II is reacted with various isocyanic acid esters in a solvent, such as ether, or a carbamoyl chloride expressed by formula III is reacted with various amines in the presence of a dehydrating agent to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
