CORRUGATION CUTTER HEAD

PURPOSE:To adjust the interval between stripper plates by sliding and engaging the stripper plates to and with the carrying direction of a fin material and making the engaging position adjustable in a cutter head forming a corrugated looper fin from a filmy fin material. CONSTITUTION:The fin material 12 made of a filmy sheet of Cu or Al., is bitten between two forming cutters, upper and lower 41, 42 to be formed in a corrugated form, pushed by the force F from an extruding outlet side and adjusted and compressed by the stripper plates 57, 73 in its height to manufacture a corrugated fin material. In this case, the stripper plates are engaged slidably with the cutter head frame along the surfaces 53, 54 inclined toward a fin height to the carrying direction T of the fin material 12 and the sliding and engaging positions of the stripper plates to the cutter head frames are adjusted by adjusting bolts 65, 70, 83, 84 to suitably adjust the interval between the stripper plates 57, 73.
