Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a water-resistant nonwoven fabric, excellent in waterproofness and air permeability and capable of imparting soft tough with hardly any stuffiness as a disposable diaper by laminating a nonwoven fabric consisting of hydrophobic ultrafine fibers to a nonwoven fabric having a high tensile strength and integrating both nonwoven fabrics according to partial heat fusion. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-resistant nonwoven fabric, obtained by laminating (A) a nonwoven fabric (e.g. plural superposed nonwoven fabric layers by a melt blowing method) consisting of hydrophobic ultrafine fibers having 0.1-5mum average fiber diameter to (B) a nonwoven fabric, consisting of fibers having 5-50mum average fiber diameter with >=1kg/5cm width tensile strength and =20cc/cm /sec and
