MULTISTAGE EXTENDABLE LEADER AND STRUCTURE SUPPORTING EXCAVATOR THEREWITH

PURPOSE:To make traveling easy and to improve work efficiency by providing an extendable leader composed of a base leader, middle leaders and a top leader, all of which are fitted one another in a telescopic form, and by changing the height of the leader according to the circumstances of work. CONSTITUTION:A rotary frame 2 of a vehicle body 1 of a traveling vehicle supports a leader support 3, and a swing frame 4 is supported therewith in a way of being capable of swinging round a perpendicular axis, and a leader is further supported by the swing frame 4. The leader is composed of a base leader 11 supported by the swing frame 4, middle leaders 12 in the quantity of one or more and a top leader 13, all of which are extendably fitted one another in telescopic structure. To one of the side faces of the leader, a necessary attachment is installed through a guide 11a, a bracket 14, a supporting body 15 and a push-pull bar 18, and is made to be capable of ascending and descending. The height of the leader can be optionally varied according to the circumstances of work.
