Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the area or a filter by attaching the filter to the incident light window of a package for a solid-state image sensing element. CONSTITUTION:A filter 8 is arranged in close contact with the upper surface of a lens 7 in an incident light window 4. The filter 8 is attached to a package main body 1 with filter-pushing metal fittings 9 and screws 10 so that the filter can be freely attached and removed. Since the filter 8 is attached in close contact with the lens 7 in the incient light window 4, an air layer is not present between the filter 8 and the lens 7. The filter 8 can absorb specified light efficiently. A filter which cuts other specified light can be applied in addition to the infrared-ray cutting filter.
