SHREDDER FOR FOIL SHEET AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To simply perform the change of a shredding width by providing a sequence control device for controlling the operation of a pulse motor and variable speed motor so that the cutting by a cutting edge and the advance of a foil sheet class support base corresponding to the width to be shredded of the foil sheet class are alternately performed. CONSTITUTION:The adjacent part of the cutting edge opposing part of the foil sheet class located on a support base 12 is pressed with an adequate set pressure via a foil sheet class backing 34 by the pressing head of a fluid pressure cylinder. In this state, a pulse motor 20 and variable speed motor 58 are operated according to the operation control data set by corresponding to the desired width to be shredded of the foil sheet class by a sequence control device 60. Thus a cutting edge 40 is moved down at the advance stopping time of this support base 12 via a crank mechanism 46 and rocking frame 42 from the variable speed motor 58, with intermittently advancing the support base 12 by each width to be shredded of the foil sheet class via a feeding screw 10 from the pulse motor 20, and the foil sheet class is shredded in desired width.
