LEVEL CORRECTOR FOR STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of maintenance as well as raise the efficiency of operation by a method in which a jack is hung down from a guide rail set along a base beam connecting struts and moved to desired places for level- correcting operation. CONSTITUTION:A structure is supported through many struts 31 on a floating base 20, and a level-regulating shim device 38 is set between each strut 31 and the base 20. A guide rail 40 is provided along base beams 32 connecting the struts 31 and attached with a jack 41 movably. When the level of the struts 31 is changed, the jack 41 is moved to the changed position along a jack 40 and operated to regulate the level of the struts 31 by the device 38 for correcting the level of the structure. The level correcting operation over a wide range can thus be made by lesser number of the jacks 41.
