Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the ignition property of a combustor where fuel is preheated by a vaporization glow plug and ignited by an ignition glow plug to be heat source for heating by detecting the temperature of a combustion chamber before starting combustion by a resistance value of the ignition glow plug and adjusting a preheating quantity at the vaporization glow plug. CONSTITUTION:A constant current is sent to an ignition glow plug 8 in a control unit 16 when a heating switch is put on, and the resistance value of the ignition glow plug 8 is detected at the time, while a temperature-resistance characteristic table is referred to for detecting the temperature in a subcombustion chamber 1a. Energization start time and energization interval to a preheating glow plug 6 are computed based on this temperature, and energization of the preheating glow plug 6 is controlled. Fuel in a fuel passage connected with the discharge side of a fuel pump 7 is thus preheated and vaporized, and vaporized fuel is jetted from a jet port 4 into the subcombustion chamber 1a for ignition and combustion by the ignition glow plug 8, so produced combustion gas is led to a heat exchanger 17 for heating air from a blower 12.
