INFLATION PRESSURE REGULATOR

PURPOSE:To aim at the abatement of abrasion by providing a sealing device in a passage, being installed in a spot extending between an axle and a carrier supported free of rotation in this axle, with a packing pair having a lip part which is elastically deformed when it receives an air pressure and forcedly pressed to a sliding cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inflation pressure regulator feeds a tire inner chamber with high pressure air out of an air pump via a passage 26 formed in a carrier 18 supporting an axle 17 being attached with a wheel 21 to the end, a passage 27 formed in this axle 17 and a tire pressure regulating valve 22 or the like. In this case, a sealing device 25 bridging these passages 26, 27 consists of a pair of ring packing materials 29, 30 being attached to an inner cylindrical surface 28 of the carrier 18, and a sliding cylinder 41 consisting of a cylinder 39 fitted in a corresponding position and a bearing material-make cylinder 40 unified in one body as being driven into this cylinder 39 and with self- lubricating ability. Each packing 29 or 30 is made up of installing lip parts 31, 32 provided with abrasion resisting ring bodies 33, 34 at each edge being expanded wide by dint of air pressure.
