LINE ABNORMALITY PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR REMOTE SUPERVISORY AND CONTROLLING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To speedily attain a communication function restoration processing by means of switching a communication line between master stations and slave stations by setting a time for discriminating a temporary fault and a continuous fault to be a time exceeding a time required for switching the communication line. CONSTITUTION:In the temporary fault processing parts of the master stations 11 and 12 and the slave stations 21 and 26 receiving signals, the time for discriminating the temporary fault and the continuous fault (2.8 second) is set to the time exceeding the time required for switching the communication line. When the time required for switching the communication line connecting the master stations 11 and 12 is set to 10-20 seconds, the slave stations 11 and 16 set the setting time to 30 seconds. For switching the communication line between the master station and the slave station 21, for example, disconnection between the master station 11 and the slave station 21 occurs at the switching start of the communication line. At that time, a system starts a temporary fault restoration processing, and the temporary fault restoration processing completes when the switching of the communication line completes. Consequently, only the temporary fault processing is continued and the continuous fault processing is prevented from starting.
