TELEPHONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the setting job of an operating data, to decrease the setting time and to reduce the setting mistake by providing storage means storing the operating data as to plural extension telephone sets corresponding to each extension telephone set. CONSTITUTION:An operating data relating to an extension telephone set 11 is stored in an area represented in #a of a storage means 42. A maintenance terminal 7 inputs a copy instruction of the operating data of the area #a and inputs a data representing the operating data of extension telephone sets 12-11 to the storage areas #b-#i, a CPU 41 copies the operating data of the area #a to the storage areas #b-#i. Thus, the operating data as to the extension telephone sets 12-11 is set properly by the operator having only to apply the setting of the operation data of the extension telephone set 11 for each item accurately and to input the copy instruction or the like from the maintenance terminal 7 afterward.
